Human Resources Director (Full-Time)

As the Human Resources Director at The Whitaker Group, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function with a special focus on data analytics and the use of AI to drive strategic decisions. You will lead and develop our HR team, ensuring the effective implementation of HR strategies, policies, and procedures. Your role will be critical in fostering a positive work environment, promoting employee engagement, and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Leadership and Strategy: Lead and manage the HR department, providing guidance and support to HR team members. Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives. Act as a strategic partner to senior management, offering insights and recommendations based on data analysis and HR metrics.
  • Data Analytics and AI: Utilize data analytics and AI tools to enhance HR processes, improve decision-making, and drive organizational performance. Generate and analyze HR reports to identify trends, make forecasts, and provide actionable insights.
  • HR Operations: Oversee recruitment, onboarding, training, and development programs. Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations. Manage employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management processes.
  • Process Creation and Improvement: Design and implement efficient HR processes and workflows. Continuously evaluate and improve HR policies, procedures, and practices.
  • Communication and Reporting: Develop clear and effective communication channels within the organization. Prepare and present reports on HR metrics and performance to senior management.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Experience in creating employee handbooks is a plus. Support diversity and inclusion initiatives within the company.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum of 5 years of HR experience across various functions.
  • Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in a similar role.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and the use of AI tools in HR.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create and improve HR processes and workflows.
  • Experience in reporting and presenting HR metrics.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree or HR certification is a plus.
