Role Overview: The Brand (Experience) Manager will manage brand and company events, activations, and initiatives. This role involves working cross-functionally with the Community Manager and internal departments of The Whitaker Group to execute events and initiatives for various partners. The ideal candidate will have a high level of detail orientation, communication skills, critical thinking abilities, and resource management expertise.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute brand and company events, activations, and initiatives that align with The Whitaker Group's goals and values.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the Community Manager and other internal departments to ensure cohesive and successful execution of events and initiatives.
- External Partnerships: Collaborate with external partners to deliver high-impact interactions that enhance brand visibility and community engagement.
- Budget Management: Communicate and manage budgets for events and initiatives, ensuring cost-effective and resource-efficient operations.
- Brand Communication: Effectively communicate brand and community initiatives to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and understanding.
- Market Understanding: Understand the nuances of different markets to tailor events and initiatives that resonate with local audiences.
- Street-Level Interactions: Lead street-level interactions and activations to create memorable and rewarding experiences for the community.
- Impactful Experiences: Design and deliver experiences that leave a lasting impact on participants and contribute to the overall brand narrative.
- Detail Orientation: Maintain a high level of attention to detail in all aspects of event planning and execution.
- Critical Thinking: Utilize critical thinking skills to solve problems, optimize processes, and enhance event outcomes.
- Resource Management: Efficiently manage resources, including staff, vendors, and budgets, to achieve event and initiative goals.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: Proven experience in brand management, event planning, or a related field.
- Skills: Exceptional detail orientation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Education: A degree in marketing, business, event management, or a related field is preferred.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to lead and manage teams and projects.
- Market Insight: Strong understanding of different markets and the ability to tailor experiences accordingly.
- Financial Acumen: Experience with budget management and financial performance analysis.
- Process Improvement: Proficiency in project management tools and process optimization.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel as needed to support events and initiatives.
Education
A degree in marketing, business, event management, or a related field is preferred.
