Buying Administrator

Working as a member of the buying team to maintain a healthy business by closely managing vendor relationships, inventory levels across retail channels, and the overarching product ecosystem.

OVERALL DUTIES

  • Communicating with vendors
  • Maintaining positive vendor relationships
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets to ensure organized data company-wide
  • Preparing orders placed by buying team to be received and processed
  • Maintaining markdown cadence for seasonal goods

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
  • Previous Experience in the retail industry is a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Crafting and proofreading purchase orders
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform and multi-task under pressure
  • Experience in data entry style work
  • Ability to be versatile and adapt plans where necessary
