beSocial Coordinator

To manage the day-to-day operations of the physical beSocial space, facilitate the creation and scheduling of events, and cultivate community engagement and immersion through relationships with our guests, event hosts and programming partners as well as consumers beyond any retail transaction.


  • Maintain and fill the monthly event calendar with 30 events a month
  • Host and facilitate events digitally and physically within the space - from beSocial-flagship programs to inbound through inquiries, existing and new community relationships and partner initiatives
  • Build and maintain a Cultural Committee to support and drive constant inclusion and consultation on the space and its purpose
  • Ensuring a high level of service is provided to all guests, event and program attendees, and communicate our position and platform in the community
  • Execute and/or support brand partner activations and events in the respective beSocial space in tandem with the Brand Experience Manager


  • Ability to communicate and execute in a professional and timely manner
  • Previous experience in community programming and engagement
  • High level of customer service skills
  • A passion for community engagement and events
  • Punctuality and a high attention to detail
  • Hospitality and Service Industry Experience an Asset
  • Strong Microsoft Office knowledge
  • Accountability for space maintenance and repairs
  • The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
  • A High School Diploma
  • Post-secondary education an asset
